Benefits of 3M™
Decorative Window Film

  • Hundreds of film and design possibilities

  • Can mimic frosted, etched or sandblasted glass at a fraction of the price

  • Can remove or replace film as tenants move in or out

  • Made and warrantied by the 3M company

Core Products:

The advantages of etched, cut, sandblasted, textured, blackout, or one way mirrors are clear: enhanced safety and security can be provided through privacy. These matte, blackout, and mirror films limit views through glass on the building interior. Because these films come in rolls, they can be cut into numerous decorative designs, and can provide an updated look, while maintaining the privacy desired.

Frequently Asked
Questions

How does the custom design process work?

Our commercial specialists will learn about your needs and design intent, and measure your glass, to determine the recommended production.  We will get you a digital and / or physical mock-up, meet again with a commercial specialist, and potentially move forward with a project.

What are distraction markers?

Distraction markers are strips of film that are applied around 30” and 60” from the ground for interior glass walls.  Distraction markers may be mandated by state safety codes, to alert occupants that there is glass, and to keep people from walking into walls.

What are decorative films made from?

Decorative window films are made from polyester and vinyl substrates.  Most that we install are made by 3M, although we also handle requests for Solyx, and many of our custom projects are printed on optically clear vinyl.
